After settling back into Island life with moving to Comox Valley, the Landolt family finally had the opportunity to make their dreams a reality, open a Microbrewery, snap, Ace Brewing Company. Ace referring to Ace Fighter Pilots in WW1 and WW11 fighting for the Military community of CFB Comox.

Spitfire Lager

A pale lager brewed with European-style Pilsner malt and noble hops.  5% | 22 IBU

Drop Tank BLONDE ALE

A refreshing Blonde Ale finished with aromatic hops.  4.7% | 27 IBU

Kitty Hawk Honey Cream Ale

Canadian Prairie Malt and local wildflower honey make up this dry Amber Ale. 5.2% | 15 IBU

Wingman Pale Ale

This pale features Cascadian hops and specialty malts. Highly crushable and aromatic. 5.5% | 21 IBU

Jet Fuel IPA

A big and bold west coast IPA. Stone-fruit and pine flavours dominant our flagship IPA! 7% | 70 IBU

Overcast NEIPA

A hazy IPA with a silky, full body and potent tropical fruit flavours and aroma.   6.5% | 30 IBU

    Spitfire Lager
Our flagship Lager is styled after a German Pilsner. The grain bill is composed of European style pilsner malt and noble hops. Malt flavour of fresh bread, white cracker and honey are accompanied by a snappy herbal and spicey hop flavour from the Saaz and Tettnang. Fermented at low temperatures and lagered for an outrageous amount of time leading to a crisp, clean fermentation profile and finish. This beer is a true labour of love for our production team and you can taste the attention to detail

Wingman Pale Ale
2022 Silver Metal (Canada Beer Cup) 
Wingman Pale Ale is a marriage between all the best characteristics of English and American style Pale Ales. We took an English Ale yeast that exhibites wonderful berry esters and co-pitched with our in-house American Ale yeast to maintain an appropriate fermentation attenuation. The malt bill is complex with contributions of pale malt, crystal malt, wheat and midnight wheat. Finally a generous usage of Cascade, Centennial, Amarillo and Mosaic hops give a classic west coast hop flavour of citrus, pine and stone fruit. This Pale Ale is unique in it’s marriage of styles but also classic in it’s delivery

Kitty Hawk Honey Cream Ale
Kitty Hawk Honey Cream Ale is an amber coloured cream ale that utilizes flavourful local wildflower honey. Honey malt is used in the brewing process to create a mouth-coating sensory experience. The honey flavour is well balanced and pairs excellently with the orange and peach flavours from the use of Amarillo hops

Jet Fuel Westcoast IPA
2021 Canadian Bronze Medal (Canadian Brewing Awards)
2020 Canadian Silver Medal (Canadian Brewing Awards)
A classic, strong west-coast IPA with a big dry-hop leading to a dank, resinous, piney and citrus aroma and flavour. This double Canadian Brewing Award winner is bolstered with an enormous amount of Amarillo, Cascade, Centennial, Mosaic and Sabro hops. The hop profile toes the line between classic west coast flavours and new-school tropical expressions. Bold, bitter, flavourful and aromatic, this beer is well on it’s way to becoming a “modern classic”

F@#%! Bomb Cherry Sour
This version of the F-Bomb is lightly soured and heavily fruited with rich, dark cherry puree. This results in a beer that tastes like your favourite                                                                             red candy. Reminiscent of cherry blasters, red lollipops and jolly ranchers.                                                                                 5.5%

Overcast Hazy New-England IPA
A big, hazy, juicy, smooth, New-England style IPA. Overcast features Idaho 7, El Dorado and Azacca hops leading to flavours of apricot, guava, pineapple, orange and pine. A malt bill of pilsner, wheat, oats and unmalted wheat create a silky, full bodied mouthfeel to support the potent hop profile. This beer has huge hop flavours and aroma with low hop bitterness

Stout
An rich, smooth and full bodied stout with a complex malt recipe. A touch of rye gives this beer a spicey background with rich chocolate and coffee notes taking centre stage. A touch of Beechwood smoked malt leads to a subtle smokiness that is present but not overpowering. A generous percentage of oats gives the beer silky smooth mouthfeel and body. As cold weather approaches, this stout will help ease the burdens of winter

Ace Classic Lite Lager
Ace Classic is a light, bright and crisp Canadian light Lager. It features Canadian grown Pilsner malt and Centennial hops as the foundation of the beer with Saaz hops and specialty malts used to create a unique and refreshing flavour pallete without sacrificing the clean profile of the beer.                                                                                                    This new offering is sure to be a “classic” in the making                                                                                                 4%

Green Room Fresh Hop Pale Ale
A pale ale utilizing fresh cascade, centennial, and cashmere hops grown by Shorewolf Farms in Black Creek. $1 from every can and every pint sold goes directly to UROC to continue their work of development and preservation of the mountain bike network in Cumberland

Pilot Project – Valley Vibes Session IPA
Introducing “Cerv-Ace-A” by Ace Brewing Co., a Mexican lager radiating with the essence of summer. Crafted with flaked corn, lime zest, and Motueka hops, this golden brew offers a refreshing blend of crisp malt character and citrus. Perfect for lazy afternoons on the beach or lively gatherings with friends, “Cerv-Ace-A” captures the spirit of Mexico in every sip.

A low ABV, full-flavour brew showcasing Citra and Simcoe hops, bursting with bright citrus and juicy stone fruit notes. April 2024 marks 100 years of service for the Royal Canadian Air Force as a distinct military element. In celebration of such a tremendous milestone, we have partnered with the Royal Canadian Air Force Association to bring you a delicious, crisp, clean and crushable craft lager. You can find this as well as other commemorative, collectible items for purchase in our store or within the brewery. Partial proceeds of all sales go to the Royal Canadian Air Force Centennial Fund.
